Check cooktop compatibility, base dimensions and usable capacity. A pan’s rim diameter may differ from its contact area, and a set’s piece count can include lids. Read the contents list to compare the actual vessels provided.

Confirm handle materials, oven or temperature limits where stated, and the cleaning method. Avoid assuming that every finish tolerates metal utensils or a dishwasher. Consider filled weight and the storage space needed for lids and handles.
